Artist Information

Painter, born in London. Trained as a structural engineer, he was mainly self-taught as an artist. In 1958 he moved to St. Ives, Cornwall, and became a member of the Penwith Society. He had solo shows at the Rowan Gallery, 1966, and Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol, 1969, and in 1992 was included in the Belgrave Gallery's 'British Abstract Art of the 50's and 60's'. Victoria and Albert Museum, Contemporary Art Society and Arts Council of Northern Ireland hold his work.
